Quinta Hotel in Funchal Madeira

The historic centre of Madeira’s capital Funchal is the location for this special and luxurious hotel. Within 5 minutes stroll, you’ll find many of the landmarks Madeira is famous for like the Fish and Flower market, the Monte cable car station or Fort São Tiago.

One of the old town’s main attraction, besides the charming architecture of the early settlers, is a well known ‘secret’ amongst locals and tourists: There is large variety of excellent restaurants and all of them within easy walking distance of the hotel!

Across from of the “Igreja do Socorro” (a lovely example of baroque style which curiously has several names: Igreja de São Tiago, Igreja de Santa Maria Maior and Igreja do Socorro!) and next to the Fort São Tiago there is a small public lido complex with a swimming pool and access to the sea.
